Saskia Van Kemseke

Saskia Van Kemseke is a Hospital and Clinical Pharmacist at the Universitair Ziekenhuis Brussel (UZ Brussel). She graduated as a Master of Science in Drug Development (title: Pharmacist) in 2013 at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (Belgium), followed by a supplementary Master of Science in Hospital Pharmacy at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (Belgium) from 2013-2016. In the hospital pharmacy of the UZ Brussel, she works half-time as the responsible person for the production of sterile (non-cytotoxic) preparations. In the other half time, she’s a clinical pharmacist at the Emergency Department of the UZ Brussel where she works directly with physicians, other health professionals, and patients to ensure that the medications prescribed for patients contribute to the best possible health outcomes.
