Today we organised a simulation exercise to test the decontamination capacity of our Emergency Department (UZ Brussel) as part of the master's thesis of Dr. Lieselot Blomme. A mixed team of 8 doctors and nurses were involded in this exercise and were responsible to correctly decontaminate 24 simulant patients. The simulant patients were a mixture of friends, family and medical students who had to experience triage, disrobing and decontamination. We want to thank personnel and simulants for making this a great exercise!
