Dominique Bulckaert

Dominque Bulckaert, MD. She graduated in Medicine at the Catholic University of Leuven (Belgium) in 2003 and finished a residency in Pediatrics in 2008. This was followed by a training in Tropical Medicine and International Health. From 2009 till 2012 she worked with Medicins Without Borders as a pediatric referent, focusing on Neonatology, Malnutrition and Pediatric Intensive Care. Afterwards she started a postgraduate in Emergency Medicine at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel which she finished in 2015. Currently she works as an emergency physician at the Brussels University Hospital, mostly at the Pediatric Emergency Room and Pediatric Intensive Care. Besides she teaches pediatric topics to nursing students and nutritionists.
